Abstract
Sound is the voice uttered by the human larynx. The written form of this sound is letters-words-sentences and language. The spelling and meaning of the subject depend on the actual pronunciation of the speaker. If the pronunciation of the sound is not correct, language can never be effective. Again, due to mispronunciation, language regarding spelling, meaning and application fails substantially. Actually, pronunciation is the mirror of a language. If a speaker does not pronounce correctly, the audience resents and abandons him/her. From classroom to meeting, the speaker’s speech comes alive everywhere. For this, the listener can understand the exact meaning by listening to the speaker’s speech. It can be noted that the debut of the Sanskrit language was in the Vedic alphabet. Now a days, however, the Sanskrit language is mostly spoken, read and written in the Bengali alphabet. These paths have been followed in this article. In Sanskrit, pronunciation follows spelling or spelling follows pronunciation. It means that pronunciation and spelling are not changed. In Sanskrit, each letter has its own place of pronunciation. Correct pronunciation is never possible without knowing the actual place of pronunciation. As our main target is the lovers of the Sanskrit language and the ardent students of oratory, we are showing pronunciation place and pronunciation of the Sanskrit alphabet. In this article, the place
